CUT STEEL AS PART OF RESEARCH AND SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT
We conduct scientific activities in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Poznan University of Technology.
We carry out scientific-research cooperation and development works with Research Network Łukasiewicz Metal Forming Institute in Poznań.
We also cooperate with the Cracow Institute of Technology, the Warsaw Institute of Electronic Materials Technology, the State School of Higher Professional Education in Koninand the Kaliska Academy.
28.11.2018- 19.08.2019 – We conducted a project with University of Windsor (Canada): Research on mechanical properties according to ISO and ASTM standards.
We conductresearch on the mechanicalproperties of variousconstruction materials. The researchconcerns the implementation of friction and weartests of cuttinginsertsduringmachiningdifficult-to-cut materials made of austeniticacid-resistantsteel.
The conductedoperationaltestsconcern the determination of variousindicators of blunting and wear of the cuttinginserts and theirdurability in variousmechanicalprocesses.
